Same sex weddings in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum
All couples enjoy the same rights in terms of marriage throughout Mexico, regardless of their sexual orientation.
Information for foreigners getting married to foreigners in Mexico :
You don’t need to be resident in Mexico in order to get married here, you’ll just need a passport and your tourist permit, plus some other paperwork (see below). If you plan to get married to a Mexican in Mexico, you will need additional documentation
Information for Mexicans and Foreigners getting married in Mexico
The documents needed to celebrate a legal Same Sex Wedding in Mexico with your partner, are the following:

Marriage application: given by the Civil Registry Office

Protest letter: given by the Civil Registry Office Birth Certificate from each one (it can be only passport).

CURP (only for mexicans)

Prenuptial medical examination: with no more than 15 days before marriage.

4 witnesses with their official ID

If applicants are divorced or widowed, they should present the corresponding divorce or death certificates.
NOTE: All documents need to be deliver at least 7 days before the wedding, in original and copy
